>11.2011 : LVQR_LAUGHING COW Shortlisted
Graphic Design Competition Organised by designboom
Taking the iconic triangular shape, I have created a pattern that can be applied to any extent. This can be the base for cutting out any shape related to the brand. In this instance using the most iconic of all, the outline of the cow’s head, giving it a contemporary twist with the use of a simple pattern consisted of the repetition of only one shape. The end result looks interesting and fun without being overcomplicated, bearing in mind that the production will be through the silkscreen technique.

Lever Handle Design Competition Organised by designboom
A lever handle that compliments any style of contemporary interior. For internal use of both residential and public spaces due to its robust structure and design. The main body of the handle is made of a single piece of satin stainless steel making it substantial and hardwearing in contrast to its intricate appearance. It is strengthened visually as well as structurally by the yellow and red junction elements which, coated in enamel, give a lush and softer finish in contrast to the stainless steel.Based on concepts of modernism, the design takes into account the elements that consist a typical lever handle, expressing those rudiments through the use of basic shapes and of primary colours.

Lever Handle Design Competition
The attempt was to emphasise the two main parts of a door handle: the lever and the bolt. The final product intended to become part of the door rather than be a separate element, hence the face of the lever handle is flat (sectioned) and the rear part, facing the door, has a softer, rounder and more ergonomic finish.

8x5m Banner Design Competition
One of the main urban features of Barcelona is the open squares, which act as a catalyst element for public gatherings and social activities to occur in several areas. The design aims to stress the power of public space, enabling people to meet outside the comfort of their homes and appreciate their surroundings. A cut through the wall, is resembled through the design, portraying a regular repetition of internal spaces (as most people would imagine a monastery to have) and windows are reversed, giving the impression of looking through the building to the rear wall and into the courtyard located at the other side of the monastery.
